Christian Movement for Inner Healing

Rite of Christian Initiation in Adults

For those newly interested in the Catholic Faith and those who have been away a while.

Ignation Contemplation

Meditation

Based on the teaching of John Main OSB from the World Community for Christian Meditation

Some more explanation as necessary

Ignation Contemplation

We meet to: a) to contemplate on a scripture passage, often from one of the Gospels, and b) to review and discuss a section from 'Spiritual Disciplines'

We meet on the second Wednesday of each month (except August) from: 7.30 pm to 9.15 pm; the address will be in the Bulletin on the Sunday before.

Come as often as you like; you'll always be welcome.

Meditation

We meet to: a) listen to a short talk by John Main OSB, and b) do 25 minutes meditation. We use 'Maranatha' as our 'prayer word' during meditation.

('Maranatha' is two aramaic words, 'Marana' and 'tha' joined together, which mean: 'Come Lord' or 'The Lord is Coming')

We meet fortnightly on Mondays from: 7.45 pm to 9 pm (ish) at 5 Harley Street, on:

Monday 4th April
Monday 18th April
Monday 9th May
Monday 23rd May
Monday 6th June
Monday 20th June
Monday 4th July
Monday 18th July

(missing Monday 2nd May as it's a Bank Holiday)
